Magnesium Carbonate Character: Light one is white, friable masses or bulky, white powder, odorless. Relative density is 2.2. Melting point is 350ºC. It's stable in air. When heated to 700ºC, it decomposes to carbon dioxide and magnesium oxide. It's almost insoluble in water, but it imparts a slight alkaline reaction. It is insoluble in ethanol, but dissolves, with effervescence, in dilute acids.

6,Usage: It's used as nutrient, flour treatment agent, anti-caking agent and leavening agent. It could be used in wheat powder and gum ingredients.
